A little about Jami

Sound healing is not only a part of my life, it’s also a way of life.

For me personally, it means finding myself again, practicing calmness, relaxing, listening to my needs, nurturing self-love and also receiving and giving, seeking true harmony and balance in life.

I have been practicing sound healing professionally for over 8 years. My interest in musical instruments and the benefits that they hold towards health and wellbeing has been an interest of mine for much longer. As a result I found my way to Asia, where I lived and worked for many years in holistic retreat centers in Thailand such as Atsumi healing, Atmanjai Welness, Paleo Wellness retreat and others.

Whilst In Asia, I started to listen to my body more and to my personal needs. I also met my teacher and mentor , who guided me to a deeper understanding of the ancient wisdom and practice  of healing with frequencies and sound.

I discovered the magic of Tibetan bowls and, last but not least, my much-loved crystal singing bowls. I still remember the feeling, emotionally and physically when I heard them sing for the first time, and the calm soothing energies that they provided.

As I have evolved as a sound healer I have enjoyed exploring  the effectiveness of other instruments that I like to play and have added crystal singing chalices, shruti box, Koshi chimes, rattles, rain stick, shaman’s drum, kalimba, Indian flute, gong and others that I believe provide the beneficial results desired.

Finally, I am a Reiki Master, which for me encompasses the journey of energy healing.
